Scalp Exercises Against Hair Loss

Did you know that scalp exercise can help reduce hair loss through improving hair health and encouraging the growth of your locks? These do not require expensive tools or equipment, and can be done on your own. They range from simple stimulation of scalp to targeting individual sections – all for healthy strands that are gorgeous to behold. Read more of these exercises below.

Side Scalp Maneuver

  1. Sit upright in a firm chair, and place your hands on the sides of your head. Each palm should be above the same side ear. Straighten your fingers, but don’t clasp them together.
  2. Gradually, start moving your scalp up and down. Don’t move your fingers.
  3. Move your scalp for two minutes, and then remove your hands. Relax for 10 seconds.
  4. Perform the exercise 10 times.

Scalp Relaxation

  1. Sit upright in a firm chair. Lift your arms as you open your hands, which should be placed onto the back of your scalp.
  2. Clasp your fingers together. Avoid touching your thumbs together.
  3. Slowly, start moving your scalp up and down. Don’t move your fingers.
  4. Keep moving your scalp 20 times, and then remove your hands. Relax for 10 seconds.
  5. Perform the exercise 10 times.

Circular Massage

  1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart. Optional: place two drops of vitamin E or rosemary oil onto your scalp.
  2. Use your fingertips to gently start massaging your scalp. Begin with the right side, working small portions at one time. Use circular motions.
  3. Use clockwise motions for the first three minutes, and then reverse the direction (counterclockwise) for the next two minutes. Massage your entire scalp area up to your hair line. Avoid fingernail use to prevent damage.
  4. Massage your scalp for five minutes every day.

These are completely natural techniques and may take time to show significant results. Just like in seeking eyelash growth fast and more efficiently, you may consult your dermatologist or doctor for a product to help in hair loss prevention or potential treatment.
